  • hey what make/brand is that nice inline watt meter?

I have been looking for one like that

  • Great video. I agree with gd9704 though. Start up amps would be my concern as well. Can you tell us what they were?

  • Well done!

  • Wow I had no idea they would run that much stuff. I was thinking they might be able to run one thing at a time like a microwave, refrigerator, freezer. That's really cool, I might have to buy one now.

  • Props to you bro, nice house, nice video. But is that 4 circuit panel a transfer switch? Many people (not you) who watch this may make the mistake of not turning off the main breaker. That can back feed into the power grid and kill a line worker. Please folks, have an electrician hook this up for you and get it inspected. You could save a life or take one, you choose.

  • Love your house! :)

  • try making a video of it powering your WHOLE adobe!

  • I have the exact same setup but with the 30A version of the Protran panel, two Honda EU200i in parallel, an extended run fuel system, everything strapped down to a trolley with 4" casters. Fridge, stove, split A/C unit, water pump, wireless Internet, satellite, TV, two laptops, a few energy saver bulbs, two stand up fans, 19" TV, & DVD player. Propane hotwater heater takes care of the hot water for the house off of a BBQ propane tank, thinking of getting the Tri-fuel kit.

  • Good video. My only concern would be the starting wattage of the fridge and furnace should they start at the same time......that would be interesting to watch on the meter!
