I went on Waipi'o On Horseback. It was a lot of fun, the trail guide said they both went on the same trail, excpet on Waipio on horseback you did a dit extra on the other side of the barn.
I have a friend who lived in the valley for six months w/o electricity or running water. He pitched his tent at the base of the ravine right next to the beach.
I went on this ride with my family in 2003. It was awesome. We didn't get to ride to the waterfall, however, because of heavy rain the night before.
