  • Very nice video Wonderful !!!

  • Thank you for the HD!!! If you have a chance, it would be great next time to zoom into the instruments periodically such as the pfd so we can get a bit of situational awareness in the video, approach speeds, altitude, etc.

  • Thank you for a GREAT video!!!

  • Another great video. Well done.

  • awesome video. what is the continuous buzzing noise on approach and final?

  • apparently that's a trim horn, to warn of possible runaway trim while it's self-adjusting. Would be better if it actually JUST warned for runaway trim

  • @sbentjies in the 737 (and DC9 for that matter) the trim is a physical wheel that makes all kinds of whirring and clacking noises as it moves. The MD80 has a different system for Trim which is much, much quieter. To counter this, the Trim horn was put in to fix this. Thus you will still get a noisy trim sound (the trim horn) instead of silence. The trim horn will sound every time the trim moves. Regardless of it the Autopilot moved it, or if it was the Pilot via trim switch or handles or manual

  • instrument Cooling system

  • @mmmpetersen What? No - what is it really?

  • @mmmpetersen I think he's talking about the buzzing horn

  • If you are refering to the sound you can hear just in the beginning of the video its an alarm reminding you that the altitude you set in the MCP is coming up very soon (1000 feet away)

  • @skiflyzander is the "trim"

  • holy ... that looks good. go sas:). nice

  • woooooooow
