Artifake Labs offers a great virtual Mellotron download for free.

You can get 3 versions including a virtual MKV as well as the M-400.It is a VST plug in so you need a VST host. (Cantabile Lite is a free download and works well.)

I have it on my laptop and it works great with a Korg Microkey MIDI keyboard.

I am looking into a virtual 'Tron, and I need someones opinion as to what software to get. I have heard better things about M-Tron Pro's sound quality, but sampletron has more rarer, and lesser heard instruments such as the optigan, talentmaker, chamberlins, etc.
