Phil, I previously went on a weight loss "journey" myself and I had lost 70 pounds. I was built the same as you too, 6'1" 250 pounds, Now I'm 180.(ish) Just yeah. took me about a year to do. Just did about 30 minutes of cardio a day, and did the Weight Watchers diet. Sounds stupid but hey, I'm proof. Best of luck.
