  • Lousy fruit, KILL THE ACTORS!

    LOLOLOL

  • I love how he has basically all the songs in this :)

  • @HarryPotterismyhome I love how he recaps the ENTIRE MOVIE in under 2 MINUTES! Love it!

  • I wonder what the Prison guards would think when they saw this :)

  • What people don't remember when they give this remake crap is that it's not supposed to be the original movie, it supposed to me a movie musical version of the musical that holds the most Tony of all time... Don't be trolling Youtubes!

  • @TheWandMaker94 Tony tony tonyyyyy

  • is it sad that he pretty much summed up the whole movie in under 5 minutes?

  • anyone else not understand what the chore is before "the cow's need 'a milkin?" haha it just sounds like jibberish to me

  • one person missed the like button . =D

  • i absolutely loved the summary

also, am i the only one that's still mindblown that the voice actors for

    Timon (nathan lane: bialystock), and

    Simba (matthew broderick: bloom)

    were in here

  • @ClairePeine in one of the deleted scenes Pumba appears XD

  • definitely one of the best songs.

  • "Gimme those books! Fat fat fatty!" hahaha best

  • I like how most of his examples of betrayal come from the bible (Cain and Abel, Samson and Delilah, etc)

  • STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABBED ME IN THE BACK

  • This is actually one of the rare times when a show was pulled right off the stage and replicated almost exactly the same in a movie.

  • 2:26 - 3:51 is the best part of the whole thing... basically summarizes the whole movie love it :)

  • This is my favorite movie ever,I can watch it over and again without ever getting bored of it!

  • My favorite scene in an awesome movie! "Books, Fat, Books Fat" hahaha

  • I just heard another version of this song, I think it was an early soundtrack, and frankly, I like this version of the song better. I know, Nathan Lane did both versions, but it feels like he put more feeling into this version than the original.

  • "Alvin! Don't forget your chores! The wood needs a-cording and the cows need a-milking! Alvin! Alvin! ....Wait a minute. My name's not Alvin. Someone else's life is flashing before my eyes. I'm not a hillbilly, I grew up in the Bronx. What the HELL is that about??"

    Love that part XDD

  • Somebody else's life is flashing before my eyes. What the hell is that about?

  • This is one of the greatest numbers to come out of Broadway and, if I'm not mistaken, it was cut from the movie. What the heck?

  • @gjm1953 I don't think this was cut. It was while Max was in jail, and he got a postcard from Leo in Rio.

  • @gjm1953 it wasn't cut i just watched the movie this was my favorite song :)

  • @Rabbitsizcute Well, I may be wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't in the theatrical release of the film. Maybe it was put back in for the DVD?

  • @gjm1953 i have it on dvd so i guess i wouldn't know lol but it was def on my dvd

  • @gjm1953 I saw this in theaters when it first came out and I remeber this becasue I loved it and the way the rest of the jail was empty. :) Maybe the theater just wasn't a fan of Timone.................lol

  • @gjm1953 It was definitely in the Theatrical version - sometimes they cut it out of the TV Version, for some reason.

  • the cows need a milkn' ALVIN! wait a minute my name's not Alvin. that's not my life. that's somebody else's life flashing before my eyes. I'm not a hillbilly I grew up in the bronx.

    hahahahaha

  • "Wait a minute. My name's not Alvin. Thats not my life... Somebody else's life is flashing before my eyes...!" Lol best line ever!!!

  • just for the record, the movie came before the broadway musical.

  • @Masquerade64: Are you refrencing the original 1969 non-musical?

  • @funnystuflover No. I'm referrenceing to my Theatre II class.

  • I keep thinking Max shoulda remembered at least one more thing when he reviews what happened... the fact Adolf and Roger have the same exact middle name, seeing as how it was Roger who ultimately ended up playing the role on opening night.

  • the summary of the whole movie in one song. xD <3

  • Out of all the awesome songs in this musical... For some reason I LOVE this one xDD it's... Catchy?

  • HEY ITS TIMONE!!!!!

  • in my year, and englihs clas is ding 'betrayed' as their topic for the term. i reccommended my frien use this for her assignment.

    hehe

  • Alvin!! Don't forget your chores! The wood needs a-cordin' and the cows need a-milkin'!!! Alvin!!! Alvin!!!

  • I love how this song basically explains most of the movie in 4 minutes and 25 seconds. You can skip most of the movie and if you hear this song you'll know what happened lol. Of course, I would never want to miss out on the whole shebang of the movie, though :)

  • I <3 NATHAN LANE!!!!

  • Y'know I need visuals because without them, I'm imagining Timone singing this.

  • lmao i think the same thing!!

  • Well I've never seen "The Producers" before so it's kind've hard to imagine the actual character being portrayed instead of a character he voiced. And as if that wasn't bad enough when I first heard this a few weeks ago through an AMV, I kept thinking he voiced Rex from Toy Story,(Don't ask why) and didn't know his name until today, and have you to thank for that, but it brought up the Timone imagery...

  • ohhh tru well u sood totally watch this movie it wuz great and np thats my job a luv a ton of actors lol

  • Its on Netflicks Instant Play. You should watch it AH-FRIGGIN-AMAZING!

  • Ditto! I screamed when I first saw this a realized it was Timone!

  • All the good ones are always Gay... But I Love him too!

  • lmao i totally agree lol :D

  • "Alfred? That's not my name..."

XD LMAO, this song is the best in the whole production

  • "Alvin", not "Alfred" lol.

  • I think the remake was actually better than the original. The music, the casting, the filming in genral, is much better. I never say this, but this one time, the remake is actually better than the original.

  • favourite song from to the play! i love this scene in the film.... "no rex... not on the alphalpha!" .....

  • Love this song it's funny

  • ok first off they talk a lot of crap about this remake, but i really liked it myself. For one this is probably the last mel brooks flick we get. two Nathan lane and Mathew Broderick make on hell of a team.

  • @mikofbableon that's right! plus, i consider this to be the remake that I choose over the original. besides, to me, Lane and Broderick ARE Beolystock und Bloom!

  • @mikofbableon I have too agree I recently saw the original and watching the remake. The remake is so much better! No offense.

  • definitely my fav song from the show. ^^ 5 stars! ^^ favorited!
