Excellent compilation! I was in attendance at 3 meets which Rigert took part:
1. 1970 World's in Columbus, OH, where he needed 3 tries at 182.5 to finally total and take 3rd behind Ivanchenko and Mike Karchut in 82.5. YOU HAD FOOTAGE!!
2. 1976 Olympics Montreal (I did a drawing of him and presented it to him there)
3. 1978 World's in Gettysburg, lifting as a 100 kg and winning.
I wish I could have seen him do the 220 WR on US soil.
