  • bein. merci .

  • Супер!!!

  • Belissima!!!

  • It is unreal!!!... Can't imaging what she would be like in 10 years from now... good luck!

  • wow. Her playing is so mature.

you can tell its missing that extra 1% of refinement still, but god dam! for someone that young to play like that is unreal!

  • a piece to shine : wonderfull!

  • Wow

  • You are unreal. I can't wait until you play sold out concerts in front of thousands of people. I will be there.

  • .... ASIANS! Great performance.

  • Wow! I had to come back. she is amazing! Both girls are:)

  • Very Good :))))

The piece very hard. but Dominique and Valerie performs very good.

  • Very good. :) I'm jealous that she had the opportunity to start so young. I see her going very far in the world of music. I'll be listening around. I wonder what music they are to bring the world in 20 years.

  • @lolturtle13

Jealous? You have never heard Isaac Stern talking about his childhood to speak like that!!

  • @maluliju37 What is different? From what I know Isaac Stern also studied young and has his first debut at age 15. I'm not really jealous. Maybe that was the wrong word. But more disappointed with my families inability to fund my studies in music. I've had interest in music since I was 5 and asked for an instrument many times. The most they could get me was a harmonica until recently. Even now I've never taken lessons. Music is not my future. That's why I'm working to study medicine. Inform me.

  • @lolturtle13 His childhood was a nightmare!! Or he had no proper childhood!

  • @lolturtle13 From my point of view, he had a very unhappy childhood: the price to pay when your parents push too hard!! But when children know they want to be musicians, then I agree parents should do all they can to encourage them, my children chose the instrument they wanted to play; But I know very talented people who have had it the hard way, managed without help from their family, and go on fighting! If you think music is your life, go ahead with it, so as not to regret later!

  • excelente....

  • She is so fantastic! I can't believe!

  • I cannot stand it when someone is younger than me and better than me at the same time.

  • El virtuosismo de un gran autor , reflejado en una excelente interprete. Solo cabe una expresion EXTRAORDINARIO.

  • I just realized why I listen/watch Valerie play this piece so much. She sounds like Itzthak Perlman.

  • @TheSingingViolinist don't kid yourself...yes she's great for her age but no way does she sound like Perlman...

  • @tara2820 I didn't say she's at his level. Big difference in what I said.

  • Oh my, what a cute little oriental girl - and she's talented too!

  • Magnifique exécution!

Elle a tout d'une grande, et Saint Saens est un compositeur génial.

  • Is simply just beautyful....sincerly...you are a really great artiste...

I wishes you all the best in your career

Very thank you to you to offer us a work so beautiful, and play brilliantly...

    Thank!:)

  • The work isn't supposed to be a skip in the park. A great musician doesn't deliberately showcase technique for all to see: the maestro uses his/her skills to better display the music.

This is a disappointment to me, especially since I know the girls can do much better. The technique is there, no question. The interpretation isn't. This is a moody and soulful work, not a skip in the park.

  • @marcgv6 Do you suppose he meant "These particular girls can do much better", Mr. Clueless? Perhaps you should use your brain before running your mouth. Barrister has been supportive of these two in many of their other videos. If he's not lavishing praise, he must have a reason.

  • @pianistconductor run my mouth when and if i like to, thanks

And respect please I didn't fault respect to anyone

(hope understand my message, not english native)

  • @marcgv6 I understand your message perfectly. You're a spoiled brat who will run your mouth just because you can. It still makes you clueless.

  • @pianistconductor come on......

  • @TomBarrister these are children... tehre is room for refinement.. maybe you are better but considering how young they are, they kick your butt

  • @TempoFurioso he's not insulting them, so i don't know how you got defensive over there. I don't mean to fight Mr. Barrister's battles for him (well this is hardly a battle), but I agree with him. Their technique is superb, but I also have the feeling they're only playing these technically difficult pieces just to show off, rather than to deepen their musical understanding of this emotionally demanding piece.

  • @NoPreservativesAdded we can't say that... it is hard to judge the motive of others... we can't say what they are playing for, we can only see if the performance is good. but then again, that is also a subjective thing... and even if they are just showing off, there is nothing wrong with that... that is part of perfecting technique... and she is still on the level of perfecting her technique

  • Please give at least SOME credit to the pianist, guys!

  • she is making it look so easy...

  • What chinrest is she using?

  • ok guys, lets give some credit to the pianist too!!!!!!she is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!

  • 8O When I saw this girl I thought to myself :"Ooooh noooo, enough of little children playing violin... this is a so horrible sound... But I have to admit that SHE RUUUUULES ! She's just AMAZING

  • simply amazing and awesome!

  • Fabulous!

A big complement for you Valerie and Dominique

  • she can get into julliard NOW.

  • I had to come back.... She is absolutely amazing! I also love her dress^^

  • o.O is that a del gesu violin? shes really really really improved a ton from her first few videos! What an incredible work ethic... so easy to just say shes gifted or talented. The truth is shes a hard worker!

  • Is this the same "Valerie" that played the Chopin "Black Key" etude? If so, she's a genius just like the Russian guy who plays Paganini and Rachmaninoff on violin and piano, respectively, at the same concert!

  • There are violin majors i know that are NO WHERE near Valeri's level of playing... WOW!!!!!

  • excellent!!!! great!!! Love it!

  • i love this.

  • Wonderful. Simply beautiful. No wonder Valerie was first chair in the Youth Symphony as I heard from a friend. I also heard both are going to a VERY prestigious school because of their talent!

    Good job you two!

  • @smiletodayuan Which school are they going?

  • @btvnmzrt I think it was a music school in NY? AKA the one that's super hard to get into, harder than Harvard.

  • @smiletodayuan i'm not sure that it's harder than harvard, but just equally as hard :/

  • @btvnmzrt Juilliard Pre-college

  • These 2 sisters have grown into 2 beautiful professional musicians. I love how their performances are always so simple and flawless. Bravo both Valerie and Dominique.

  • who is her teacher?

  • how old was Valerie?

  • ma siete meravigliose!!!!

  • Anyone know how old she is? She is so great and has so much emotion in her playing. Such a mature sound. She is going to get a great scholarship to a university one day.

  • @gbritaney 12 years and her sister playing piano I believe is 14.

  • Bravo

  • Very well done! Valerie plays with such passion. Dominique is a sensitive accompanist.

  • So beautiful!!

  • Very well done, both of you.

  • Bravo! =)

  • Well pretty girls what more can be said that has not already been said? except perhaps that I am going to ignore the YT changes and give you a galaxy of stars instead of one of their silly Thumbs Up. Excellent work.

    Love

    Lalita

  • Amazing...Brilliant...

  • Awesome!

  • BRAVA!

  • One word: Insane.

Also brings back memories of the previous time you played and posted this.

  • Brava, brave. Done seemingly with ease. As was said below, much better than two years ago. Wonderful. Thank You !

  • I see a massive improvement in your playing! I'm sure you could win a competition and play this piece with an orchestra like me. It's wonderful to here such a massive orchestra behind you!

  • perfect

  • Unbelievable... Great technique!

  • Wow!

  • I love this soo much and you both are playing with great virtuosity and joy :-)

  • El Ronde de Saint- Saens es muy hermoso y la ejecucion ha sido muy bella.

Felicidades a Valerie y a Dominique, son excelentes.

  • I truly love it!! Beautiful phrasing and with such a nice sense of pacing. Both girls are awesome.
