  • Good job, Joe.

  • awesome.

i'm trying to build my upper chest.

would it be a good idea to also try these inclined?

  • 115's???? you're a mad bastard joe. Serious strength :D

  • Lol he makes it look easy with that much weight

  • I do these on DB shoulder Presses, Machine Shoulder Presses AND Machine Chest Presses to burnout after a heavy chest day. For another variation, try a DB chest press with just one DB at a time and use a hammer grip, crazy on the core and a nice, different feel on the pec compared to benching or standard grip.

  • @wisdometernal I find it interesting that you're telling one of the best strength and conditioning coaches on the planet how to train.

  • @OHWolves1694 Its interesting you don't get the concept of a COMMENT page.I wasnt telling anyone to do anything. If you do any training of your own, you'd notice that people often offer experiences&ideas 2 each other. That's what I was doing. Instead of trying to start something, you should probably ponder the difference between sharing&teaching.Trainers OFTEN exchange ideas&thoughts. Joe shared a vid for all of us,& I commented on something i do for anyone it may help.

  • thanks joe will add this to my split for chest day

  • your my hero joe.

  • hmm i never thought of this i'll probably try it out tmrw looks like a good way to change up the normal db press.

  • Awesome never tried this.

  • i did that one time to just play around i didnt think it actual work

  • Its not necessarily the exercise it self that "does the work", but the fact that it provides your program with some variety. With this " surprise elements" comes strength! ;)

  • solid set... that is a tall ass bench though

    keep it up

  • I do the same thing but i do netural grip, have you tried this on incline it fucking kills

  • Never tried alternating presses but that must be hard to balance.

  • Strong, but whats the purpose of those mini stepup boxes at your feet?

  • The boxes are there to decrease the strain/arch on my fuc#ed up lumbar spine...I had a spinal tumor removed many years ago that still causes a ton of pain..

  • I see good luck to you Bro. Keep up the good work.

  • hey joe, if you multiply most people's db row max by 2, is it greater or less than their barbell bench press max

  • Nice Joe, thanks for sharing.
