Last year was my 1st season with my 11 degree FT-i driver. initially it took away a little distance, but it was straight every time, but now my distance is back. First full round with it I hit 11 of 14 fairways! Something I'd never done before(5 was my best prior). One of my last rounds last year I was hitting it around 220-240 consistantly and maxed out at 297. I still slice and hook from time to time, but more often than not it's dead straight. I love this club! Good video....nice swing!
About a year or so ago I traded my FTi head for a FT5 head. Actually has more distance than the FTi. I am planning on getting the new FTiZ head in March. Will post a video of the FT5 swing soon and again with the FTiZ when it becomes available.
He said in the description that it was a 316 yard par4 and he drove the green , i am getting my FT5 today and i am not overly keen on the square look but you certainly nailed that , nice one .
Shutup, casting will not give you that amount of clubhead speed. The ball went in line with his shoulders, pretty sure that not over the top. It's better to have a closed stance on the driver.
First of all, only a 14 year old uses the word "dong", secondly, as soon as you can spell the word golf, then you can make comments on someone's swing. Thank for playing!
Actually, some of it is grass shavings, some is the grass. But the effect was pretty cool. It does show how much air is moved by the FTi clubhead. I actually traded it in on an FT5 head with an Nrage shaft from Aggressive Golf. Tipped to between an X and XX. Great shaft and has made the distance better with less effort.
nice drive dude. try to bring the club into your body more on the backswing to form and arch. It'll feel odd at first but it makes an ark formation which gives better contact and acuracy on the ball.
hey man nice drive. i just got this driver and the sound is incredible. im not really used to it yet. what loft do you have on yours? i got the 9 degree
The spine and shaft don't quite form a right angle. And yes, I realize I don't have my swing posted, so for all you know I could be a hypocrite. Perhaps I should recant, mate?
Thanks for the advice, but if I had hit it any further, I would have been over the green. :) I have a friend of mine that uses those, but I haven't tried them because I am not sure they are PGA legal.
the effect a tee has on a club is the same effect a fly has on a car on the freeway, brush tees DO NOT make a difference. its all mental, if you think your going to hit it good then you do!
i had brush tees and first of all they are overpriced and you do hit better the first few times (might just have been me) but slicing is more of a problem but really they are just a rip of
Brush tees are just a marketing ploy to psychologically convice hackers and slicers that the tee is a factor, but as long as it maintains the height of the ball that's all that matters.
Actually, the ball was tee'd up so high that it appears to be 4 or 5 inches father forward. I actually was within the markers, but it looks like I wasn't! I play with a guy from CA that will break my kneecaps, especially if we are gambling, if I tee off in front of the markers. I thought someone would see that. Thanks!!

Depends on your swing speed. Slower speed (under 100mph) 13 degree will be better. Over 100mph, 9 degree would be better.

i have the same driver but its 13 degrees..say i hit a good drive with a 13, and a 9 degree driver..how big of a difference in distance will it make?

Quit waggling that thing already and hit it! I hate people that waggle their club like they are playing with their dongs.

try to roughly have a hands width between your body, and the butt end of the grip.

how do you know ITS ALL MENTAL you dont. brush tees are proven to give you a extra 10- 15 yards
gtp20003 3 years ago
no they are not
bumblesbounce54321 3 years ago
A brush tee has the same effect on a drive as a regular tee. Nothing.
The biggest influence a tee has on a drive is the height as which its set.
The best part of the brush tee's is that you can get it to the exact same height every time vs. just guessing with a regular tee.
Also, show me there it is a proven fact that using a brush tee gives someone a 10-15 yard longer drive.
