The 12's gotta little more displacement...So it's gonna sound alittle tougher... But it's not that much of a difference...

probably stock... Buell's have harly V-Twin engines.

Early Buells used heavily modified sportster engines. The later ones are their own design based on the V-twin. The exhaust definately is not stock.

I'm currently looking at a 2000 model 1200cc Buell Lightning for $5000 with 8000 miles on it.

There's several online Buell forums depending on how much banter, abuse and fun you want to join in. Two of the big English speaking ones are BADWEB and UKBEG (google'm) and there's a couple in Europe.
