I find this performance very impressive and have listened to the Oscine Trio many times as an example of how the Brahms Trio should be played in preparation for a summer school where I played this as the clarinettist. The Oscine make it sound easy, but it isn't. It's rythmnically hard to pull off and Ms Sasaki manages to maintain a beautiful tone and quality of playing throughout, as do the other two players. Congratulations!!

Wonderful skill and ensemble. Tempo "follows" the music a bit too far in either direction and betrays an absence of a "master plan;" phrases rather short.

Das ist mir schon klar ;) Ich meinte auch eher, wie man das "Spielen" miteinander vergleichen will - es hat doch jeder seinen ganz eigenen künstlerischen Ausdruck, nur weil einer besonders ausdrucksvoll spielt, muss das ja nicht heißen dass das optimal für das jeweilige Stück wäre - was ich damit sagen will, nur jemand der Einblick in die Instrumente hat kann eigentlich sagen wer jetzt am "besten spielt" denke ich. wenn du dich mit allen drei auskennst, respekt.

Ich finde die Interpretation zu studentisch. Alles ist schön brav und abgerundet, ich verstehe aber durch diese Interpretation nicht, warum Brahms dieses Werk komponiert hat. Es mangelt an Leidenschaft, an Persönlichkeit. Es wirkt irgendwie lahm, gelenklos. Als Hintergrundmusik wirkt vielleicht ganz gut. Es braucht aber noch viel Reife und Arbeit, bis es aussagekräftig wird.
