I'm a big fan of the Terminator franchise and I had the great honor of meeting the Governer of California when he visited Los Angeles a couple of months ago.

I just had to ask him if he was going to make an appearence in this new Terminator. And he smiled at me, leaned forward and told me YES in my ear.

I asked him how and again he smiled at me and said that they digitally put a younger face of his on some body builder and McG had him record his voice for a couple words.

Christian Bale has to be regarded as one of the best actors of this generation. And not from his box office success with the two Batman films and now this Terminator movie, but look at his work in Rescue Dawn or The Machinest. Those are top notch performances.

Then go to regular films like The Prestige or 3:10 to Yuma, the man does a tremendous job getting into a role.

Just looking at this preview you can see his acting ability grab hold of whats going on making it all feel real.

All of it looks so totally wicked ... except for the part where a Transformer seemingly appears out of the blue, but after watching this trailer I'm actually looking more forward to this than the new Transformers, maybe because the Transformers 2 trailer sucked and it didn't have the cool music to set the mood.

Reminds me of time when I was a kid and T2 came "out of nowhere" for me and I was truely surprised to see Arnold as protector of John. After seeing T1 I was naturally expecting that T800 came to kill him again and the other skinny guy was the protector... wrong! Man, that was a moment.

I think it sucks when they reveal everything in these trailers. Apparently this should have been a surprise for the audience that Marcus is a terminator. Now they ruined it. Why?
