Is this amp portable?? Does it have sth like batteries or does it need a cable to the electricity plug/jack?? I have the MG 15CDR and it needs a cable so I'm just wonderind if i could get a bit better tone on this amp than on my MS-2r mini portable..

Dude, I have a guitar and an amplifier but no sound goes from ,y guitar to the amplifier. I can hear the strings vibrating and the amp is buzzing, but no guitar sound. How does the sound get from the guitar to the amplifier??
