Hey man I just got a hold of my friends old 4890 because he upgraded and so I crossfired it with mine, but im not getting anywhere near your FPS, on this bench same settings im getting like 22.8 FPS any ideas?

can you plz tell me how you hit 3.9 ghz w/ only a vcore of 1.387? thats slightly higher than stock! is it because ur using the megahalems? i read that phenom II's prefer cold instead of voltage.

That "16Qx AA" should have been "24x CFAA + Wide Tent/Edge Detect" for your cards, if it would have been a proper unbiased game, instead of nVidia's "standard"...

at max settings and filters at 1680x1050 my 3650 512mb and 2.53ghz dual core = 1.55fps in bench :D

Crossfire doesn't scale all too well with Crysis.

Nothing scales too well with Crysis, deep down, it runs on very poor engine, sadly. Fake DirectX10 (among other things) sprinkled on for marketing purposes (that every dumbass seems to think it makes a difference and/or just sounds cool) and the affiliation with EA put alot of people off from buying it.

dude he switched 16x antialiasing. I think those two did just great, if u turn that damn aa off, ull get blasting framerates

But with 16x AA the textures look much sharper ann crisper.I tried 16x AA in assassin's creed and i was amazed by the quality.

if you're going for a multi-card setup i'd say the 275, single gpu? buy the 4890

by better core communications and you can overclock the 4870 x2 to 4890 settings... ive done it... but of course i dont wanna say that a stock 4870 x2 is better than a xfire 4890 ;)

Love the new Phenom II X2 550. What a steal at $100. You know you can unlock the third and fourth cores and it is essentially an X4 955, right? It has me thinking seriously about switching over to AMD completely.
