Dude, I think ur thinking of Muslims. They believe Jesus didnt die on earth but gabriel died in his place. But they specifically believe that to disprove his divinity. Islam has no logical backing though because muhammeds teachings were not written down until lifetimes after. The New testament was wrritten within 70 years of his death and resurrection.

maybe you should read Isaiah 12 in hebrew and then Psalm 98, 71. even Moses spoke of another Prophet coming that would be like him, what other prophet was there like Moses name me 1 like Moses, read Jeremiah 31: 6 For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.

the word watchmen here is notzrim in Hebrew, which means Christians just ask any hebrew speaking person
