IMO, the original one is more epic because it's a one-of-a-kind style; almost acapella (somehow simple) but very powerfull. I actually can't think of any other song with the same style and as good as this. As I said, that's IMO only, though I think some people may agree.

The commentary from the dvd is very enlightening. Brian and Roger point out how the band was very angry about the constraints the film's director and crew put on them for the shows, and they worked their frustrations out on stage by playing quite a bit faster than usual. Brian and Roger also mention how they were so in tune with each other on stage that they communicated with eye contact, as you can see at about the two minute mark.

@dustinblythe and they also said that they didnt like the people who recorded it because they had no control of it till quite recently. As you can tell they seemed very blocked in on the stage, not as free as they were at Wembley for instance. I noticed this when i was watching it last night. Yes, the video quality is quite wonderful but they seemed very trapped on stage, not moving around and being the Queen everybody loved and admired.

@Pauolin I watched the concert with Brian's and Roger's comments, and they said that the guards were very strict about what the audience could and couldn't do. The Queen members thought this was ridiculous and Freddie says on stage that they wouldn't even mind if people switched seats or took their clothes off.

I have the original VHS of this show, but it had the title "Queen We Will Rock You" It was missing a few of the songs that appear on this full set, but it was awesome. I got this about 19 years ago for christmas... it had a huge impact on me and caused me to want every album they made!

I'm buying all the vinyl I can find of them, and just got Queen II from a friend of mine, who worked for a radio station. The album was still sealed from when the record company sent it to them back in 74ish.
