Norway has some fine nature but it's certainly not the best country in the world to live in. I had to work there once for nearly a year and the food prices are just ridiculous, the electricity costs the earth and the government treats people who want a drink like children by making them buy wine and spirits in a special shop rather than the supermarket. It makes no difference since you still see drunk people in the streets on a late night.

@Axnarax Next time you come to Norway try the not so famous Aursjøvegen in the same mountain area. It's a toll road and you wouldn't drive there with a caravan behind the car. A small car or bike is best. And drive carefully. I'll bet you will be speechless! There are some youtube vids. Welcome back to Norway :)

Norway has some fine nature but it's certainly not the best country in the world to live in. I had to work there once for nearly a year and the food prices are just ridiculous, the electricity costs the earth and the government treats people who want a drink like children by making them buy wine and spirits in a special shop rather than the supermarket. It makes no difference since you still see drunk people in the streets on a late night.

Surprisingly enough, Norway IS actually the best country in the world. Their healthcare, dental care, life expectancy are some of the highest in the world where as the gun crime rate, and crime rate is the lowest in the world. They also have the highest human development in the world.
