And most people don't bother looking into alternatives to evolution because every single question we have thrown at it checks out. If you want to suggest something else that works with the mountains of evidence we have, go ahead. If it checks out, scientists have no qualms with changing their minds, unlike those who cling to faith based ideas such as creationism.

@khoraski OK, I have no idea how this conversation on evolution started, but you clearly have no clue what you are talking about. Darwin's theory was not accepted by anybody, other than a few scientists, when he first introduced it because it went against the teachings of the church. Also, you said that Darwin's theory was logical. So if something is logical, and passes every test we put it to, then wouldn't you have to assume it is worth sticking with?

If scientist had observations of some other way of life forming, don't you think they would have talked about it? Maybe they don't study a new way because there is no new way yet. Maybe everything they study fits into evolution in one way or another. They can't really start studying a new theory without anything to base a new theory on.
