  • wow. She's fantastic!!!

  • Amazing. This girl has a gift...

  • Simply amazing! I hope I can be as good as that one day :)

  • ineffable

  • ...... :O ..... No waaaaaay.

  • wow

    she's a violinist?

    she done a great job!

  • Tchaikovsky pieces are the hardest to play ! played very nicely Gabrielle!!!!!Well done!

  • Why even bother mentioning her mistakes in the video description. She is extremely talented and plays so well, especially for her age. Any mistakes are overshadowed by her excellent technique and musicality.

  • BRILLIANT!!!

  • Wow! Intonation is not quite there yet. Get into the center of the tone. Perhaps you should save you talent for these difficult pieces to be played at an older age.

  • shut up ur just wish u had her musical talent at that age

  • board4green, I did and still do. How about you?

  • oh my god. Terrible sound

  • oh my god, idiotic comment.

  • very good Gabrielle.

  • WOW! You play the piano too!?!?! I applaud you for doing both and both are equally amazing! GREAT JOB! Don't ever let condescending comments get to you! :) Keep up the excellent work!

  • 完成度高っ!

    抜群の安定感と技術の高さ

    にびっくりしました。

  • wow.. she is so excellent!!!!!!!! Congrats.. from Venezuela...

  • playing the terribly difficult Tchaikowsky's concerto at 12 yrs of age?????............now that is something I have to take my hats off.

  • woa it sounds greaaat

  • It's amazing how much this girl has grown. I mean, I just watched her at 6 years old playing Hungarian Dance #5 and now look at her. O___O

  • is she malaysian?? singaporean>???

  • she's chinese

my friends know her (piano competitions) and i suppose she is chinese

  • i know her

  • Comment removed

  • If you visited her website "KidMusician", you will know that she is born in Florida, and her parents are both from Taiwan. So she is an American, or a Taiwanese American. However, I don't why we are talking about this in the video comment.

  • Maybe she can compete the Int Tchaikovsky Competition in two sections :D she is amazing!

  • wow. I cant belive that she is playing this song already and plays it so well!

  • violin is best ,skill soso ,but all things is not bad ,good job

  • hope she's in good instructional hands...

  • decent. you came in wrong though

  • Oops, I removed comment from ellegin88 by accident. That's about her lack of vibrato. Just like the pinky, she's aware of the problems and still trying to correct them. Thanks you both.

  • she is sooo god, but she can be still better if can fix her pinky.

  • That's very true, but it's actually very hard thing to do. Boxers can jump around in the ring to relax their muscles, but violinists can not do that. I wonder what kind of exercise can help that.

  • Painful patience, practice, determination. There really aren't any exercises... she's dang good though even with her mistakes. She doesn't need the vibratto. Yes it would sound good, but she sounds fine without it.

  • I watch myself in the mirror. It really helps with posture, bow hand, and violin arm. Ha ha, it helped me correct my "swan" arm.... or bow arm,, My teacher would tell me its ok to lift your arm a little when you play on the g string...

  • Beautiful!!, Beautifull!!, Me piace, me piace molto..

She is fantastic, in tune and beautifull sound ...

    Congratulations!!!!

  • 很想看= ="但是...一直停住

  • If your internet connection is very slow, you should wait for the video to finish loading then watch it. Another way is to go to her website to download the video and watch it later. Good luck!

  • she plays very well to her age. if her finger soft enough, she will enter great paradise. ^_^

  • Thank you very much :)

  • Wow, she's good. Probably because she's asian.

  • Yea AZN PRIDE!!!!!!!!!!

  • She is amazing..I am blown away. Such skill, and expression, at such a young age! Bravo!

  • You are great!!!!!!!!!!

  • So now what after playing like one of the hardest pieces for violin? You've got Bach Chaccone and that's about it.

  • and the complete Paganini caprices LOL

  • Very well done Gabrielle. How long did it take you to memorise the whole concerto ?

  • She learned one movement at a time. It could take her a few days to a few weeks to memorize one movement depending on the piece of course.

  • great

  • wonderfult

    waht a talent !

  • WOW, you are very good at both violin and piano!!! Keep up with the hard work!

  • Wow!Thank you for sharing this child's amazing and prodigious progress.

  • From "Kanitha09"

    OMG Awesome!!!!!!!!!!

You rock!! You are a great violinist!!

  • From "flutediva92"

WOW! You deserved that standing ovation!

  • From "2007classical"

A few notes are not perfect there, but I think you're incredible, no wonder the audience went crazy.

You probably know that, at the beginning, this violin concerto was rejected as being too difficult by the leading violinist in Russia, Leopold Auer.

  • From "pianolover94"

    Nice job Gabrielle!

  • I am sorry that I removed the original video and uploaded a new one after a week (view: 157 and five 5-stars). The reason is that the sound in the original video is somehow distorted. I was told that it could be a "feature" or "smart function" from my new camcorder. Anyway, I also got a better sound recording done separately and was finally able to use it to replace the video sound, so I decided to re-post it. I added the previous comments back; hope it's okay with all of you.
