  • This recipe is awesome. What do you suggest eating with it? Rice maybe?

  • @kittytoast If you like rice, then sure! Brown rice, not white though. Soak brown rice for eight hours before cooking so that it is more easily digested. :)

  • I have never seen burdock root. Is it strong? What does it taste like? Can it be eaten raw?

  • @Wivanunu It looks like a long brown root--think carrot, but dark brown, and not tapered. It is fairly bland, but very grounding. Peel it first. I suppose some people might eat it raw, but I'm not so sure you would like it. I prefer to cook mine, usually in a stir fry, or in a soup.

  • Hi' can you find all the vegetables your using at the wholefood store?

  • @millionaire535 Yes, you can!

  • Yum! I just made this now. One of the best! I didn't have the burdock or the seaweed, but I'm going to try it with that next time I go to the health food store. I added tofu and green onions to this. Definitely making it again!

  • @MLGTelephonica Most awesome!

  • Can you use powdered burdock root in this recipe?

  • @eat02Live Try it and let us know how it turns out. I prefer the real deal. :) Larry

  • Thank you so much! I made a variant that was really good. Great breakfast for a cold morning. I hope to get all the ingredients soon and make the real version.

  • @pelota415 You're welcome. :)

  • what does it taste like?

  • @LovesIngredients well, delicious, of course!!! I just had some today, in fact. :)

  • @LarryCook333 lol i was just wondering if it had a flavor similar to something is all but i cant wait to try it and subscribe thanks :)

  • @LovesIngredients it's a unique flavor. But, don't burn the miso! You'll hate it then. And, truly, the miso mentioned is one of the best; most will not taste good in this soup. :(

Please post a comment after you try it!

  • @LarryCook333 ill def follow ur ingred :) thanx again

  • Wonderful!

  • Had it and it is GOO-OOD! I like putting the broccoli in last second (after it's cooled in the bowl a lil' bit, for those who like a contrast in textures plus some enzymes too) and if you make a BIG batch, just put in as many greens (broc, kale etc) as you're gonna eat in that meal. When you reheat the rest later, add greens fresh and it's like having it the first time, all over again. Don't skimp on the almond butter or the miso mmm, mmmm! A super savory and grounding way to start the day! :)

  • Can you reheat this soup or will the live enzymes be destroyed? Great video, Thankyou

  • Yes, you can reheat the soup. I do it all the time. Just stir regularly while on medium heat but never, ever boil it (it will burn).

  • can i use dry burdock root as well?

  • I've never tried that; go ahead and let me know. It won't have live enzymes in it, that's all. It would still be grounding though.

  • Yummy, thanks.

  • my mouth just had an orgasm :)) very good recipe

  • This looks delicious! Healthy and delicious. Thank you. I will make it soon.

  • You're welcome. Let us know how it turns out!

  • what's kale? sea-weed?

  • Kale is a leafy green, found in the produce section—usually next to chard and other leafy greens. There are several types of kale to choose from.

  • thank you very much! =) btw, thank you for your videos

  • @cigiss You bet!
