i watch and attend most monster truck events here in my hometown with my kids and this vid took me way back when i was little like them and getting excited over the trucks. i am so amazed at how far technology has come to make it better and safer!

I assume chandler stopped using the tanks because of the punishment the driver took. You can see him whip around in his seat on the landing. My friend was in the army and said that during exercises, it was common for guys to get beat up inside the Abrams (especially heads bouncing off sights) at speed.

I'm using a panasonic nv-gs 250 camcorder for the a/d convertation with adobe premiere pro. I'm using using the divix codec for converting the avi files, with 1100 Kb/s video and 128 Kb/s audio (mono). The resultation is 640*468(pal!), 25fps. The video is fine, but the audio is not as good as in the original file, i don't know why.

As for the other videos... I don't have any major monster truck shows left, just some shorter races, and some pulling. I'm going to post them in the near future...
