  • Sounds great guys! Keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Being a lover of Nesi's music and a musician myself you boys do a damn good job

  • Give ya good, not great. But I think with some works it can be a gret!

  • Beautiful song.

  • I tried to listen to this cover of this great song but thanks to these two acting like idiots..I turned it off after the 2nd take. if you want to be respected and taken serious stop behaving like morons. especially when you are trying to cover classic tunes by legends.

  • @ming746 If you're trying to take us seriously, that's your first mistake.

  • great job

  • My wife heard this from the other room and thought it was Mike singing

  • Nice Job Guys - I've come back often and re-visited the video - Fun to listen to, and left a smile on my face.

  • Nice work,my favorite song

it sounds great keep op the good work

  • Nice working of my equal favourite song guys, thanks very much all the way from Auckland, New Zealand, via cyberspace.

  • Is that a Taylor Big Baby?

  • yep. That's what I'm a' playin' on.

  • Thought so...Taylor does a very nice job.

Good job on the song.....anyway you could send the chords?

  • Great pedal steel playing. Sounds exactly like the great Red Rhodes' playing on the original version.

  • thank you boyz. that is good stuff.

  • I dig the tune, playing and h*rseshit

  • Hey thats my name! Joanne

  • Love the slide guitar and vocals, and actually enjoyed the BS before the song. Great guys American Idol is waiting!

  • Really, really liked your rendition! This is one of my favorite songs and it was beautifully done. Bravo!

  • Red Rhodes was one of the greatest steel guitarists. Michael did a nice live version of this on Austin City Limits in the mid to late 90's with Red Rhodes in the band.

    Velvet Hammer ON!

  • Fantastic job guys.....loved it...you can sing.

  • Very good guys, one of my favorite hokey tunes, good guitar playing, first rate slide dude!

Really sounds good, one way to hit those high falsetto's is to try not to sing as lound as you normally do, get a lot closer to the mike (Easier than wearing tight ungerwear!

No kidding tho, keep up the good work!

  • Very nice version of a lost classic, if you cut out the horse s**t.

    Great pedal steel work.

  • Yes the horseshit was annoying...

  • Bravissimo

  • That was gold guys! Put some more stuff on. Could you try doing something from the Seekers for your next one??

  • I was jazzed..fabbydoo! Nez is one of my faves, in fact I look like him a bit...LOL.Anywhoo..thanx guys,,keep up the good work and if u ever need a bass player,or a keybordist..dont look me up u live too far away.

    MPP

  • It took you fuckups a little while to leave the ground but it was a very nice trip. Thanks.

  • that guy is funny, remindes of a friend I yousedto know passed on, you guys are good.keep itup.

  • the guy playing the pedal guitar did a great job,you both did.that was really good.where are you guys from?

  • Chicago/Indianapolis

  • Great job guys. If you all the equipment used when the original was made yours would probably sound better.

  • I thought this was going to sound like crap and was surprised how good it sounds. In fact, this guy actually sounds a little better than Mike Nesmith to me. Nesmith sounds kind of rough if you ever listen to him.

  • Actually, we have that special knack of sounding like crap, while sounding pretty good at the same time. Glad you liked the clip. Go Cubbies!

  • I think you guys sounded great.just need more reverb and a little more back up.love the song.

  • Speed it up a little.

  • Very nice! I truly enjoyed this!

  • Nice steel work. Very nice altogether.

  • Not bad once you got rolling. The falsetto's a bitch, I know, especially on pond & love, and especially how he holds it

  • Oh guys! I am such fans of yours!! EXCELLENT Job!!! :-)

  • KEYS TO THE CAR would come to mind as a requested song.

  • awesome

  • First of all, you got hair cut. You guys do play and sing so stable.

    Great voice of "falsetto" too(^^)ノ

  • Thank you so much for doing this great song! You guys did an awesome job! Glad you left in the false starts too.

Do you play professionally? If you don't already, you should!!!

PS: If it's an original, that "cat" clock on the wall (behind Joe) is a collector's item.

  • Looks like A BARREL FULL OF MONKEES propped up in front of the steel guitar. Great cover. I thought the LIVE AT PALAIS version was great with Al Perkins. A little slower.

  • Im the first one to rate this and possibly the first view. Ha Ha. Enjoy the false starts.
