And I never said breechloaders were common. I said these are the guns that could be found during the war. Lars is a jackass that I blocked from my other channel many months ago. I've been to Fort DeSoto in Tampa...its still there today.The fort itself is pretty small for a fort but it had a key defensive position on Tampa Bay during the Civil War and really never saw a major battle or fired its cannons at the enemy in anger.

The Halls breech loading carbine is also my favorite piece in the museum. It was the weapon issued to the 2nd Dragoon regiment in Florida. It was an experimental weapon at the time because it was not a muzzel loader. If you ever make it to Harper's Ferry, you will see a lot more.

@Crosshairs95 well, in my Adventure video (on my channel), I went to that Jungle Adventures. They had that one Spanish fort from the 15th or 16th Century, but we weren't allowed near it.

I think the nearest place for colonial Spanish stuff would either be in Tampa or St. Augustine. I passed Tampa on the way to Madeira Beach, but that's still almost 2 hours away from me. I think St. Augustine is about 3 hours away, I think.
