They were just 'occasional' and 'business' friends that used to get together to play music. They never changed visits to their houses, etc.

Yeah, you read Tuomas' version of what happened, but do you know what REALLY happened? Did you know that it was in the middle of a heated argument on an airplane? Do you know what Tuomas said to Tarja to upset her so much? No, and neither does anyone else because he wasn't man enough to explain WHY she said what she said. In any case, she gave the band TWO and a HALF YEARS notice that she would be leaving, not one day.
As far as the rehearsal bullshit, NW from day one would record the instrumentals onto tape and then deliver the tape to Tarja for her to work on the vocals by herself. She'd perfect the vocals by rehearsing with the tapes, and then practice live with the band when she had the vocals perfected.
THEN they'd record the songs TOGETHER as a band.
Of course, the entire band would rehearse together before touring.
So you are again taking the bullshit comments in the open letter and imagining what you want from them, as was hoped for.
You apparently got WHO recorded the tapes and delivered them to WHOM mixed up, as it was the band who would record the instrumental tape and deliver it to Tarja for her to work on the vocals, not the other way around.

After seeing Nightwish with Annette at one of there very first concerts. Than comparing this latest one. I belive she has ether slacked off or the tour is really draining her. No touring is not easy,but thats what she sighned up for. Im looking forward to a new CD. I hope they can regain some of there band motivation. Annette has changed quite a bit on this tour.

And tarja lost ALL respect from me how she acted and that she did actually not care about the band at all. Atleast Annette cares about the band and she is doing a hell of a good job.

@cythixx I guess you haven't read much about the band development. The band never cared about Tarja since the beggining. They were never friends among them all. They were just 'occasional' and 'business' friends that used to get together to play music. They never changed visits to their houses, etc.
Then, Tuomas wanted something more with Tarja, but he had no chance - jalousy and childish ego lead him to take that idiot decision. He claims Tarja was not commited to the band...bullshit :)

@cythixx In this business there are no friends, only interests. I guess Tuomas is the one who get almost all the money. 'this is an Industry' are his words (in his letter). Who the hell is greedy here? :) Tarja and her husband invited them to dinner several times, he refused. Then, Tarja's husband confronted him with his feelings about Tarja and let him know he had no chance with her. From that conversation on, Tuomas got more and more distant, bad behavior with her, showing his hurt ego...

Yeah, you read Tuomas' version of what happened, but do you know what REALLY happened? Did you know that it was in the middle of a heated argument on an airplane? Do you know what Tuomas said to Tarja to upset her so much? No, and neither does anyone else because he wasn't man enough to explain WHY she said what she said. In any case, she gave the band TWO and a HALF YEARS notice that she would be leaving, not one day.

As far as the rehearsal bullshit, NW from day one would record the instrumentals onto tape and then deliver the tape to Tarja for her to work on the vocals by herself. She'd perfect the vocals by rehearsing with the tapes, and then practice live with the band when she had the vocals perfected.
THEN they'd record the songs TOGETHER as a band.
Of course, the entire band would rehearse together before touring.

You apparently got WHO recorded the tapes and delivered them to WHOM mixed up, as it was the band who would record the instrumental tape and deliver it to Tarja for her to work on the vocals, not the other way around.

After seeing Nightwish with Annette at one of there very first concerts. Than comparing this latest one. I belive she has ether slacked off or the tour is really draining her. No touring is not easy,but thats what she sighned up for. Im looking forward to a new CD. I hope they can regain some of there band motivation. Annette has changed quite a bit on this tour.
