Thank you for teaching me SO much in one day! One day of watching Len Hend video is like, learning a life time of information in hours instead of years with other people!
You make it look so easy! Hope you get your own show too! You are Such a wonderful master !
To make a living with painting you can paint in public, little pictures, sell them cheap, paint the same sceen over and over, get better and better, it's fun, try a market stall but you must demonstrate to attract attention.
I'm really curious if and how you could make this for a living? I mostly draw and also paint since childage, never studied, tought myself everything autodidactic. What other way could there be to paint for a living? I guess no one wants to end up like: Your paintings are "always" getting famous and ..expensive.. after you are dead. I don't want to be famous and I don't want to force anything. I am just a very curious person :-) maybe postcards?
@speedpaintingdvds ok. Thanks because I was JUST about to ask if this was acrylic. I have been working on a painting for the longest while and the water and leaves have been driving me NUTS. I am going to watch this video a few times again and try.
Hi Ruby and thanks all who enjoy my videos. I do use extender in my paint sometimes and also a spray bottle with water.
Oils are ok but acrylics dry too fast. It is a problem. The only conditions that really suit acrylic paint is cool humid still air, not always available, so I use an airconditioner in my studio. I think you should use the extender.
Bob Ross did it better! talk about happy reflections

Sometimes I need to use the acrylic extender. I need it most when blending a large sky or on a dry warm day.
speedpaintingdvds 3 months ago
Ok... do you use that thing called acrylic extender?

Does anyone know if Len uses extenders in his paints. I have trouble with them drying to fast to get the reflections.
