Thanks Ernst, that is a very thoughtful and beautiful interpretation - a bit more rythmically structured than one often hears, and in that respect perhaps more consistent with the view Richard Troeger puts forward about how to play these things in his 1983 article in Early Music (which I could send if you haven't seen it).

brilliant gespeeld, Louis Couperin één van mijn lievlingscomponisten. Het Begin van de Prélude herinnert zeer sterk aan Frobergers Toccata I Primo Libro. Daarom ook die naam, of niet?

Dank je wel! De toccata's hebben wel algemeen een andere structuur, (meer als bij Frescobaldi,) maar het gebruik van de arpeggio's en loopjes is wel als bij Froberger.
