that's beautiful! now i've got a new skill to try to develop... :)
ah, you can fool even youtube's silly rules by embedding a url in a way that a reader can figure out... like not using the 3-w's together [3-w might work... i'll try it here now... and then spelling out "dot" when it appears, etc...
like my woodworking at 3-w dot plusaf dot com slash woodworking dot aitch tee em...
Thanks for sharing this video. I'm new to turning, it would have been nice of you to explain how the piece was offset in the chuck to produce the wobble, and it would have been nice to see the finished piece.
The chuck is just loosened a little bit and the piece is tilted and then the chuck is tightened properly.
I didn't take any photos of the finished goblet but I tried to turn one myself a month later and i have picture of that one. Antti made it look very easy in the video, but it wasn't that easy for me.
YouTube don't allow me to post any links here. I try to send you a link to the picture of the goblet I made with a private message. (sorry my bad English)
Antilta tuo onnistuu :-)

Nope, it's called "turning air"; unless the wood is really weak or the machine is spinning really fast it should be fine.

@mcdraycon I have heard some very disturbing stories about sleeves get in stuck in lathes.

Very cool! But the video ended too soon to be able to see the finished piece. I would like to see what it looked like very much.
