Hello, I have a question for you? I barley come to this web site but i will come back if you reply. I have a 3 in 1 printer, fax, n copier. i just got my telephone hooked up but in my apartment i do not have a phone jack on my wall so is coming right out my router, what should i do? thank you

If you have a working phoneline, then it is easy.
If your phone line is taped from your computer, then it has to pass though the printer before going to the phone device.
Look behind the printer and you would surely fine two phone jacks: 1 labeled LINE and the other labeled EXT. Connect the phone cable from the PC to LINE and connect EXT to your phone. In this case, your phone number is the same as your fax number.

You have to use a phone line unless you are paying for phone services from your internet provider then the router's phone line will also work. In other words, u need a phone number to have as your fax number.
