just found out that the caterpillars I have are a moth called uresiphita reveralis & not pretty at all..gonna get rid of it now...;-( I was hoping it was something interesting & pretty! well thanks anyway!~M
Hello! Do u know what kind of caterpillar live off of "Spanish broom"..I see caterpillars but none have made a crysalis or anything..not sure if just a pest or will turn into butterfly..if so, what kind? My broom was fine until late this summer & noted lots of caterpillar. They are mid orange with bits of green & have long white hairs. Thanks for your vid..too bad audio was compromised by wind factor!~M
@misscoulter8 Thanks! I am still learning to keep the digicam close to my mouth when talking and filming. Usually background wind usually sounds a lot worse than it is. :)

@oromuisca Yeah, it seems that most caterpillars you actually run into in the field are moths.
