E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

2008 Mitsubishi Evolution - 291 hp @ 6500 rpm / Torque: 300 ft-lbs. @ 4000 rpm

2008 BMW M3 - 414 hp @ 8300 rpm / Torque: 295 ft-lbs. @ 3900 rpm

As you can see, stock for stock, we (the evo's) would lose at due to the M3 playing catchup.

It was 2-step (AKA, launch control). Also sounded like he had Antilag on there (Keeps boost up between gears).

Both of those features come on several different accessports, including the AEM one for the Evo. Not sure what this guy has.
