I think it sounds great. It's a radical departure from the original, hardly resembles it at all, but it's cool in its own way. It sounds more like he's using her voice as a sample in an original song then remixing one of her songs. (See, I love them both, so, this works for me.)

This remix completely misses the soul of the original song. As a standalone song without the cuts from joga this wouldn't be half bad, but as a reinterpretation as Joga it just shows a complete misunderstanding of where the power in the original was, what the original means, and why its beautiful.

I disagree. Pretty much all of Bjork's songs can be without instruments because her voice is powerful enough. But I think she embraces all interpretations of her music through experimental sounds. At least that's my opinion.
