@preykiller877 Because it's airsoft that fires a bunch of pellets from the "grenade", which is a container for pellets and gas. It doesn't fire a grenade that explodes with a shower of pellets

@biomasterizing They vary greatly depending on brand and model. Back when I started making these one pretty much had to go with Madbull to get consistent and reliable performance, but today there are a number of good options. Try searching for 40mm shells on HK-based retail sites like RedWolf, WGC, and eHobbyAsia for the largest selection. If you're looking at launchers go with anything but Madbull, as they only take Madbull 39mm shells.

Actually Beta you are entirely correct, The shortness of the barrel does classify it as a Carbine, However it would not be called a Carbine in the name it would be a M-79C, but very nice, wouldn't mind buying it off you

stuff like this is not hard to make, but it can cost alot, the "grenade" works by filling each hole with 1 BB, normally like 10+ holes then you load the green gas once that is done all you have to do it hit the little "button" on the back, and it fires the BB's, so when he pulls the trigger a little "pin" pushes the button on the back of the "grenade", the hard part is finding all the pieces you need

i made my own grenade launcher. instead of designing my own trigger mechanism i just used a caulking gun as a base. It cuts out a lot of the hassle. Check out Parts 1 & 2 in the video responses!
