It's best to leave Samsung to do the update rather than doing it yourself as you may harm your device.@arsalantube98 I'm afraid you need to go to your local Samsung store to check out with them.
hi everyone! i just got my galaxy tab P1000 last month. and i currently running on Froyo 2.2. i found out that the newer version of Android had just released (Gingerbread 2.2.3). Therefore, i'm dying to have it but i still wonder what if i upgrade from 2.2 to 2.2.3 will my galaxy tab get network locked? i would be so much thanks to some who could HELP me !!!!!! i used galaxy tab in Cambodia.

This model is called Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 or P1010.

@n1ck1216 if you don't flash dbdata.tar, you don't need to. You just need to flash the main tar and pit, just two things.
