@Reboundary I thought that more words would be useless. But I'll answer, there are a lot of games better (and with better soundtracks too) than this. Here are a few examples: Secret of Mana, tales of Phantasia, Persona 3, Persona 4 , Shin Megami tensei series (ps2), Final Fantasy 4,5,6,9,12; Terranigma.
And you choose this? I'm not a fanboy, but please, this is too much.
@ballrogxbeast Everyone is entitled to have their own opinion, I have never said this list was absolute, I have clearly stated it is my PERSONAL opinion. You do not have seemed to even have read my reply. Also, LOOK AT THE GOD DAMN DATE OF THIS VIDEO. PLEASE.
I've attempted to learn the Revolutionary Etude for my senior year high school music concert. Although I never was able to learn it in time, I loved the song anyway.
I can say that this arrangement is not only epic, but manages to capture the feeling and essence of the piece. It's an amazing song to be used for a final battle. This entire soundtrack is both amazing and a great tribute to the piano works of Chopin (and a reminder that there's still good games out there).
I can't describe how good Eternal Sonata's music is. Easily some of the best music that you'll find in any RPG or game period. This song and the music from the battle before (Ruined Body - Broken Balance) are phenomenal.
This game will always be my number one favorite RPG of all time. The history, the game mechanics and story was all so perfect, I will never find such a game again...
When I saw that Frederic was the real final boss I were like: "hell no, he's my main character, why do you do this to me?" Luckily the battle was easy... I loved that game one of the few next-gen game I really enjoyed...
This is such a unique game. Historical figures as main protagonists/final boss = instant win. Not to mention Chopin's music in this song combined with the epic orchestra makes this one of the greatest final boss themes ever.
I'd have to choose this as a potential #1 also.

This song is fricking fitting for a final boss.
I still have to complete the game... I am at the graveyard at the moment but I'm trying to get new York Minute in GTA4 first >_>.

this was a perfiect fit for the final boss

This was a grand use of chorus and orchestration of Chopin's original etude, something to be marveled.

I beat this game, I liked it my only complant is that the cut scene character models aren't very animated, they just stand around.
warbossonxy 1 year ago
I always thought it was cool that they made a video game character out of a real composer...just awesome.

YES. This is awesomeness. AUGH, my boss list is revising itself already. I think Primal Dialga and Star Wolf just got kicked out of the Top 5.
