Miyata is a great guitarist, but his song was seriously boring after like 2 minutes... Gustavo had a way better stage presence. Miyata's composition didn't complement his skills, he played too fast to quick and didn't have as much versatlity...in my opinion that is....Plus I don't think that Miyata is better, I think if he wanted to Gustav could play exactly what he did...

i think he was better than miyata, at least his song, the composition, IN MY OPINION, was better...i think his phrasing is also a little more tasteful...

yea i cant figure it out myself. How the hell he beat Fernando Miyata? i think its all a game of luck. Miyata is way fucken better and technically advanced than him. Nevertheless hez awesome but Fernando should have won it.

i liked peter petchalov his style and performance was superb even tho he is most likely in his 40s i think guitar idol was more for a younger generation. gustav is a great talentand teaches great licks

Daniele Gottardo is just a cheap emulation of Steve Vai. He's good but he's not unique, Gustavo has his onw sound and style along with awesome stage presence and charisma. Gustavo is a Guitar Idol and is already looked up to by so many. Personally im glad he won =)

The guy who won is a ok player.Daniele has own style and the guy who won played Vinnie Moore licks and Andy Timmons no ORIGINALITY.But he has good at chops but there some of other players lick .Daniele has his own style he the best player on the net.

I love Gustavos personality, glad he won, although there were much more talented guys in Guitar Idol, especially Rick Graham.
