We don't worship any God. Some Buddhists believe in "deities" who represent different aspects of Buddha, but thats in Vajrayana which was very influenced by Hinduism

Buddhist monks choose to be where they are, they freely give up material objects, nobody ever forces them. In buddhism, there is no "You're cursed to hell if you aren't a buddhist" or "You have to follow all the buddhist rules or be killed or punished". Apparently this "documentary" is based on works by Harun Yahya, a very real Muslim indeed. And there is no lost teachings on god by the Buddha. The Buddha said such a creator-god does not exist.
But the Buddha did teach about peace and I am glad to say that for the past 2500 years, Buddhism has been mostly a very peaceful religion.

buddhism is a way of living, freewill and peace. people choose to become, not forced. Fueling hatred, killing infedels, propaganda, if islam was so wonderful why do different segregations of muslims kill eachother..The guy who made this documentary has absolutely no idea of what he is talking about. He is probably a fundamentalist trying to put more hatred in this world.. purely pathetic If everybody set their differences aside, this world would not need a heaven..

Why discriminate people with a culture different than yours ? Stop revering to Buddhism as a being a religion because it isn't, it is time for all cultures & religions to forget their prejudice towards each other and start living in harmony with each other.

Wow, this man is unbelievable. He needs CNN so he can see that the only religion that's not killing one another is Buddhism. We love to live in poverty and suffering. What's wrong with that. That's better than chopping people's heads so they can go to heaven and bang 700 virgins (exaggerated :)). I want to shake his hand with my left hand.

Buddhists don't believe in a God because there is no God. How can you explain all the diseases,deaths and suffering of children,earth quakes,tsunamis and calamities in the world if there is a God who is looking after us?

Buddhism is not about cutting yourself off from life, until you are enlightened you cannot escape the sufferings of existence, rather it is about learning to deal with the sufferings of life. We cannot "forget" God - we never had the idea in the first place (except Brahma). I explain why we do not believe in God in section 2.

It is true that you can begin to become a Buddhist monk as young as five, and that they are sometimes forced into it. I and many other Buddhists do not always approve of this practice. However, in Tibet it is seen as an honour to become a monk. Tibetan families are often very large and this system helps deal with the problem while still caring for the children. They do have family lives - their family is the other monks, many of whom are the same age.

Having seen the set, I can only say that I have seen total ignorance on Buddhism by the side of Muslims represented in these clips, matched only by the same ignorance of fundamentalist Christian evangelic circles in the USA.
No wonder to see all these misrepresentations of the Buddhist philosophy when the Muslim religion allows its adherents to fly airplanes into buildings. Check also with the loving Muslim brotherhood of Shiites and Sunnis in Iraq.

If the sunnis and shia's are united then they aren't attacking each other, which means all the suicide bombings must be being done by American troops. This means that American troops are not only blowing up civilians but also their own troops.
