I used to think the only lyrics were "Dragon Ball Z" and it took me years (and by years, I mean YEARRRSSSSS) to figure out that they say "Rock the dragon" at some point. In this case, the answer is both, and it’s called Canadian English! This is the shit hole ocean dub, which the only thing they did better was the theme song. People in Canada now only have access to the FUNimation dub, which is the American version, and in my opinion had better music and voice acting. If they used this theme with the American show, it would be perfect.

This did come out in the US in the late 90s I believe.

Rock The Dragon I believe come out somewhere in 2000-2003, because that's when Funimation decided to do an alternate dub.

This came out in 1996 I believe.

@IGNsucks Sorry but I think the American one flows better since the voice in that one is kind of intense as well and it goes with the music, also the guitar riffs serve as a break between them repeating those words over and over as well. Look this is just my opinion, and it's not like I'm an American trying to protect my version of the intro or anything I'm a Canadian and I think that the American intro to DBZ is better than the Canadian one and that's that.
