  • AGHAGH!!!! SO SHORT!!!

  • Man I agree about finishing up this song. I imagine they couldn't clear the sample so they left it off the album. It definitely could use another verse. This shit is really damn good.

  • They really should've finished producing this song. Seriously, what were they thinking when they stopped.

  • ballin.

  • Comment removed

  • yezzir

  • they shouldve at least produced this song so that it sounds normal CD quality

  • never heard this b4 and i been bumpin 3-6 since like the end!

  • @kingdaddytose thats cause it never ended up being released.

  • anyone got this instrumental w the elvis hook on it..?

  • anyone know what album this is from? cause it's not from last 2 walk.

  • @youngd864 they never finished producing the song, which means it was never released on a album which is some bullshit!!

  • @Preston12877 yeah that sucks, this song is unreal.

  • hard as fuck

  • Buckshot,dont be a cock

  • All you here is Elvis stole from black music. Elvis sang rockabilly, country, and gospel. It wasnt all black music. He just sang music. good job 3-6.

  • Immitation is the largest form of flattery dude. Elvis loved black music, so that means he has no right to sing it?? He had no idea he would be famous from it lol Buckshots, you keep racism around with your kind of attitude! Go read up what people say about Elvis. Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Eddie Murphey and now 3 six mafia all respected Elvis. Don't be ignant' lol

  • damn u white people just cant come to turn with the fact that elvis was stealing his music from blacks. of course jet gonna say that its owned by white people (and just so happens the main c.e.o of jet happens to be a elvis fanatic. its funny how all white people assume cause were black they can just throw out jet magazine and everything will be ok lmao yea right fuck jet and elvis BE-OTCH

  • PLEASE DO not post about my spelling as i have a life and sitting on the computer watching videos is a little part of it. if i cared about a grammar i would have became a newspaper journalist....some shit i spelled wrong on purpose for you will make it a game have fun pikin dem out lmoa

  • @BUCKSHOTSss Elvis was influenced largely by black people yes. It was society that stole it from black people. Do you really not see the reason Elvis was popular was because he was a white version of all of the amazing black artists out there? In the 50's and 60's, people would not have accepted a black musician nearly as widely as they would have a white one. Its not Elvis's fault he got popular because of a flaw in society.

  • @BUCKSHOTSss For your information its not just white people that like Elvis Presley.Im black as hell and i love elvis music. Its people like you that are a discrace to the black community and give us bad rep when in fact we are not all like you.So when you start bashing white people just because they are elvis fans maybe your just trying to make up for something your missing in your life homie.Whos the be-otch now homie?

  • think about wat u just said, elvis and james brown were friends? its not a rumor its documented and everything. u just answered ur own question james brown and elvis were friends lmao. maybe he was just hangin round james brown to learn his moves....if they even hung out at all...holla at me with some evidence of that and ill believe it. but they was just hanging out so he can steal his moves if its true. dont trust jet.....run by blacks owned by whites :) maybe money was involved with it to

  • @buckshotsss

Have you read James Brown's autobiography published in the year 1987? He speaks of his friendship with Elvis ,the mutual admiration & respect they had & how his death affected him...enuff for him to personally pay his respects and even shed tears.

Is it not possible for a white person to be a ' soul brother ' with a black person ? Because thats how JB referred to EP & he must have had an affinity with him to say that.

JB also dismissed that infamous rumour on one of his videos.

  • @NoGodHereOnlyMuzik

There's a video of Chuck D on Youtube titled: ' Elvis "Black or White" its alright ' where he speaks about Elvis and what the essence of his Fight The Power was about. He doesnt say anything derogatory about Elvis in this video but rather pays tribute to him and explains that he was not blasting Elvis per se but he was blasting his iconic image. This video is from the year 2002.

There is more proof in the April,2002 issue of the music mag MOJO where he gives Elvis respect.

  • hey if u wanna keep makin money u gotta do certain things right lmao

  • I'ma peep it then.

  • @Buckshotss

Thats an urban legend based on an anonymous article in 'Sepia' from 1957 which was investigated & descredited by 'JET'.

FACT: How could he have said it in Boston when he had neither been there nor performed there at the time.

Most people who believe this urban myth do so because they either havent done their research or they simply dont like EP.

Thats the power of an Urban Myth and Legend,it perpetuates itself.

The Sweet Inspirations loved him & they worked 8 yrs with him.

  • this shit sucks. no lord infamous...how can you even like 3/6 without lord. sounds like some fucken Kanye ass instrumentals to me and i dont even care if yall hate on me for saying it. old mafia was the shit. this isnt even the same

  • After nearly 20 years no one stays the same, especially after you get a taste of the platinum status....... Everyone calls people out for being sellouts but think about it wouldn't you sell out for alot more dough? I sure as hell would.

  • elvis also said " a nigger aint good for nothing but shining my shoes" do ur research fuck elvis

  • whoa he did!? what song?????

  • Jet magazine already declared that as just a rumor that started in the black community. There's no evidence of Elvis ever saying anything like that anywhere. I bet you don't know that James Brown and Elvis Presley were close friends. In fact, when Elvis died, James Brown paid his respects to Elvis by attending his funeral. Now why would the Godfather of Soul honor a racist?

  • Two more words. . .

    Jimi Hendrix

  • Jimi Hendrix was an Elvis fan when he was growing up. Google it.

  • Two words. . . Public Enemy

    Fuck Elvis

  • Chuck D retracted that statement after finding out all that Elvis was racist tripe was bullshit. Just a heads up, dont want to look like a fool do ya?

  • U got proof of that? Maybe a video on YouTube?

  • fuck u, u think u know about black people, but u dont know shit!!!

    fuckin punk

why dont u say that to the next negro u see in the streets.

  • sounds good dont it.

  • He y'all we should all leave Elvis alone.

Respect the Dead especially great stars even if he did do rock n roll and love songs

  • 3-6 finally made a comeback with this song

  • this is badass.

  • afude!!! d+ muito bom very good

  • Elvis grew up in the ghetto. Elvis was dirt poor as child. Elvis took alot of heat for the music he embraced.

  • dude hes talkin bout the homes where the nazis took the jews during the holocaust before the camps like Auschwitz.

  • actually he didnt write the song so....

  • and its pretty obviously not about those ghetos

  • thats coz he stole it from black artists

who wouldnt have been showed the time of day by whites in america

so it took for a white guy to make it, for people to actually listen to it

    shame really

  • he didnt stole it !!!

  • Stole it from black artist? You are aware of the fact that Mac Davis wrote the song 'In The Ghetto".....Mac Davis was a white guy.

  • blasphemy

  • awesomeeee

  • wonderful

  • WICKED REMIX!! 2 Elvis samples used for this remix,Ghetto & Walk A Mile In My Shoes i.e.the spoken bit at the end about helping your BROTHER 'cause the same God who made you made him too.

It's short but sweet. A GOOD JAM.Well Done!!

  • This beat is so hard, too bad this song isnt longer, it could be the ridin song. This reminds me of the older three 6, tight as f*ck rhymes and a beat bustin up your ear drums like bobby beat whitney

    lol

  • This is awesome!!

Elvis and Hip-Hop go well together on this track.I would buy this.Does anyone know if it's available? Elvis is made contemporary! SOUNDS GOOD!

  • WTF did elvis know about the ghetto LOL

  • Elvis doesn't sing it in the First Person but Third Person, therefore,he's an observer telling the story and not singing it from experience.Born in a 2-room shack in Mississippi, he must have had some idea of what it's like to be poor at least during the first half of his life.

Did Mac Davis, the guy who wrote the song, know anything about living in the ghetto?

  • dunno

fuck elvis anyway, i saw his comments in sepia magazine

  • If the comment involves something about a showshine, Elvis NEVER said that.

Elvis was influenced by black musicians and guess what, by white musicians too! Imagine that. His early singles had an R&B song on one side, a C&W song on the other.

  • yeah it said

"black people are only good for buying my records and shining my shoes"

how you know he aint say that????

  • Because the rumor stated he said it in Detroit in the early 50's. Elvis never performed there and never went there. He gave Jet magazine an interview after that rumor and told them he never said that. Even the publishers of Jet magazine didn't believe the rumor.

  • well even if that is true

    not to get too political

but you do know that elvis stole this music from black people???????

  • All he did was sing their songs. People sing other people's songs every day. He liked the song and he wanted the whole world to hear this great song. If that's not a tribute to the original artist and song writer I dont know what is. Don't blame him for what the Industry did to African American singers back then. He gave African American artists the ultimate tribute. He sang their songs. And he did it with soul not like Pat Boone who massacred Little Richard's song.

  • Artistes such as James Brown, Jackie Wilson,Little Richard,Isaac Hayes & BB King have credited Elvis for opening the door for them at a time when Black music was lambasted by most white folks.

It took a white singer to help to break it.A black singer wasn't able to break it on his own at the time.

That's Elvis' major legacy to Black music-legitimizing it and opening the door.

The likes of Chuck Berry&Fats Domino are the true kings of rock n roll.

  • Pointing to Fats Domino at a press conference in 1969,Elvis declared, "Thats the real king of Rock 'n' Roll, over there."

Elvis himself NEVER ever took credit for creating rock n roll, the media did that.Elvis said that he mrerely "gave his interpretation of it " and always admitted to where the roots of this music came from by stating that it was another term for Rhythm & Blues.

  • you dumbass you need to read your history books, and quite being so ignorant.Therefor if you dont like this with did you even download the video to begin with anyway.
