I killed lots of mauraders of range with my shadow warrior in t3...They only have mid armour and my arrows do high damage to them... but in 1v1 melee i die :(

short time ago the orc choppa was introduced to the game and he beats the marauder by far at mdps the only advantage that the marauders have is that they can survive longer because the choppa gets in rage during the fight increases damage but loses his armor so to say and the marauder doesnt so thats it sry for my poor english knowledge pm me if you wanna know more

Well, before I elaborate, let me just say that they are still excellent for PVE if you play them right. Basically their survivability isn't as high as intended, and the whole point of Marauder was a higher survivability than other MDPS, which would make up for putting out slightly less damage. So, they aren't any more survivable than the other MPDS, and they don't hit as hard as the others either. If you do pick up WAR, I suggest you steer clear of the Marauder, unless you want to do instances.

That's what I did. It's a very cool class, and it doesn't really start to suck until tier 4, so leveling one isn't bad. If you go full monstrosity specced(AOE) you can do decent in scenarios, but you mainly feel like more of an annoyance than anything else, but the AOE spec isn't too great for instances, and you probably won't find a group for them with that spec. My advice is to go AOE for getting to 40, and go BRUT for instances.

@whofroodat I rly like this class apart i play Order. Nowdays i see no marauders on the battlefield. All destro plays tanks, and ranged dps. Well ok healers. But my point is: Where are the marauders?

@Qwufi There aren't really too many left due to the fact that they're more debuff bots and healer killers than straight up dps. They're still my favorite class, but I don't currently play at the moment, because i'm getting ready for All Points Bulletin, but i'll probably get back into Warhammer one day, and i'll definitely still play as a Marauder. They're much better at pvp then they were when I posted that last comment a year ago, though.

FUCKING CHAOS BREED... I played this class on the preview weekend and I was to busy bashing and pummeling and slicing things up with my 'Ronco'arm(s),,,I like the way you can change the look, 3 looks for each of the three types of arms also with variation to the looks as the mutation can go to the elbow or up through the shoulder blades and back. I only got to lev 8 in about 12 hrs of play so Ill have to wait for open BETA to continue...
