@Ukrusuresh You mean the version of Ubuntu? I actually just completed another in place upgrade to 11.04 on this machine and its running great.

JackofTradesall, I had the same problem with the mouse on my Mini 210, but with a few codes on Ubuntu it works just as it should.

Hey how did you boot ubuntu on this computer without a cd drive.. or a better question and more simple. how did you run/use boot manager to run this

@halo3killa23 I used netbootin, and made a bootable usb thumb drive. In the bios switch the boot order to usb external to go first, then switch it back when you are done.

I have had this laptop for about 4 months now, I have had no problems but I am starting to get annoyed with how slow Windows 7 is. My college has VMware, and I have used Ubuntu on it and I really like it. Should I install Ubuntu on this?

@anthonycolmwatters you can always install without wiping out windows and dual boot. I personally wiped windows out, as it was too slow as you say and Ubuntu is much snappier on this machine.

@jonathan1nonly I got the last one my walmart had at quite a discount as they weren't going to carry them anymore, but I see walmart.com has them for $348 currently. I would wait for the holiday sales to start. Other netbooks will probably be in the low 200's.

@jonathan1nonly Yep, it will work great for that, just no heavy gaming and a lot of apps at once the atom is the bottleneck in the system.

@ThisIsAVideoForJesus Yes absolutely. But if you plan to edit video or play any newer games, it probably isn't for you.

How is ubunutu running on it? Where you able to get everything working properly?

@AnalogSavior Yes I was. Everything works in Ubuntu right after the install. I did have to install a generic driver for the wireless but Ubuntu asked me if I wanted to install it to get it working and haven't had any problems with it.
