I'm glad they cleared that up. And before anyone says to download their album, you might wanna buy it first. Let's stop taking money put of these artists pockets so they can do what they do.
Not all rappers are from "the street". Just like not all rockers are hardcore 90% of them come from the suburbs. Not every rapper is trying to be "gangstah" as you put it. It takes intelligence to be a quality MC. Get your facts straight, hip-hop didn't come from "the streets" it came from two turn tables, and people that loved to rhyme.
I get what you're saying, but these guys ARE from the streets. They just arn't "gangstah" rappers. And I don't know what you're trying to imply here about intelligent and quality MC's.... but Kool G Rap and Cube are "gangstah" rappers that have made lots of intelligent shit...they are MC's.
I hear what your saying, but let me clarify what was a little misleading about my comment. Although Cube and Kool G were great MC's with a different approach then what was the norm back then, the trend the started is not one I want to see. What U-N-I brings, from the streets, is much much different then what Cube did. I might be misleading in my comment but I'm praising their approach. This is a direction I want to see SOME hip-hop artists experiment in
I like the Interview,But Lets be real with,I listen to The Knux ,and U-N-I...And They're both DOPE groups,I have The Knux's First album, and I Have A Love Supreme, and They're both great albums,But I dont think They're was any real beef situation,The Media always take shit out of content, and always start shit..So,I give Kudos for them clearing it up,and I respect everyone's opinion, but PLZ,Dont listen to everything u hear in the media, just listen to the MUSIC....Don't Hate! Appreciate!! Fuk Haterz
Beef is good for the industry I believe a lil organize beef is good for the artist depending on the way its handle i love ll cool j but canibus really shitted on him but LL had the media a fame behind him so canibus was force to go back to underground he is still dope though, but know guns and violence just lyrics hip hop was born on beef kats just can't take a L (lost) and move on so it gets out of hand. Look a m&m beefing with mariah....it sells records ask 50 cent.....
i love canibus . an yeah he did shit all over that dude ll. now immortal technique hates him too . i only like his old gold shit yo . when he wasnt realy wack

Jeff Weiss has done more for the LA hip hop scene then most in the media. Whether he's biased or not is another debate..
