FANTASTIC!!! These early songs by Berg are absolute masterpieces, and Anne Sophie von Otter sings them ravishingly as if they were specially written for her!! Claudio Abbado and the Wiener Philharmoniker are wonderfully sympathetic accompanists!!! They (particularly von Otter, a light mezzo like Yvonne Minton {apparently} who reaches into the soprano range with seemingly no effort) simply blow the competition away - neither Jones, Fleming or Kozena truly are able to be true equals. 5/5
