HELPPPP... my 11 week old golden seems like she doesn't want to do anything i tell her to do...i know its been only 6 days since i got her but I've been trying to train her ever since...just simple stuff like "sit" or "stay", she won't even respond to her own name...and i can't seem to potty train her...any advice??
You've done a good job at training, I don't have a lab yet, but when I do get one I will try to do extensive training with him...see how far their intelligence and obedience can go.

Haha - The Duck is AWESOME! We've actually just bought him another one, that one finally died after more than a year of love (abuse) from Charlie! The squeaker gave up a long time ago, but he still had it in his outdoor living area and it would always be in a different place when we got home!
And of course it's good training for when they see "Real Ducks" too. Although Charlie hasn't quite made the same connection with real ducks just yet - he's all chase and no catch!
I just noticed; He has The Duck! :D I never realized how popular that toy is among Golden owners! Does he still have his? I'm getting my pup in a week and I'm definitely getting him a Duck. ;)

@ Super123GMan - it is kind of jerky. "Liver Treats" which we have here in NZ, basically jerky that is made from liver.
Just got him some chicken jerky treats actually, he loves those too. Well lets be honest, he loves eating anything....

I love that expression he gives you during the "look" command. It's absolutely adorable! He has really expressive eyes!
