@Sliffer21 yeah right, my grandma's pc is also a tower server then. Can't you see they even have sound cards. I work in a government datacenter and I`ve seen a lot of HP and IBM tower servers, I think I can differentiate between a desktop and a tower srv. Stacking up some ordinary PCs is not going to make them servers, trust me I`ve also used PC as servers before and they can never be compared to a brand server.

@nath0hcker heh, they don't, but these guys use so called "comodity hardware" in order to reduce cost...which in turn reduces price...but at some point that might cause performance/stability issues.

Why tower vs. rackmountable servers?

PC tower takes so much space but on the other they are cheaper than Servers.

We actually support all sizes of servers. From all variations of rack mountable servers and all sizes of PC case style servers. I think you answered your own question :) Rackmount servers cases are generally more expensive than PC Cases. This is mainly because PC Cases are mass produced at a higher volume than rackmount cases. It should be noted (with some very rare exceptions) the case style doesn't change the server performance at all. It's what's inside that matters :)
