Great show. I would have loved to sit down and share a meal with these two ladies!! Most likely you would be laughing more than you would be eating!! RIP Jennifer
I loved how all their recipes seemed to start with melting a massive wodge of butter in a frying pan.... and finished with stirring in about a pint of cream!!!
I loved this show back in the day (when I was young and naive), but upon rewatching it on DVD I've found I really notice how contrived all the set-ups with meeting people are and how staged their travelling in the motorbike and sidecar is.
I'm also a bit revolted by Clarissa's big fat fingers. Most people had a problem with Jennifer mixing things by hand, but for me clarissa is the more disgusting one. So gross.
Ah, the memories! :) I watch this on Cooking Channel (232 if you have DirecTV) and I recently ordered the DVDs. Hard to believe Jennifer's been gone for almost 11 years now. May she rest in peace. :)
Hillary Clinton is the eldest of three and has two YOUNGER brothers. I think this is the reason why she is so powerful. We need more Hillarys and (Meryl Streeps, who is of the same birth order) don't you think? So if your first child happens to be a girl, and your second child a boy, then have a third child. Hopefully he is a boy.
we need more of these girls on here I just brought the dvd box set for a very dear friend she 83 going have buy another one for myself they where great and Jennifer RIP girl "It needs more cream dear "
lol!!!! i used to watch this when i was little. it didn't seem as cheap to me as it does now. i heard one of them died and thats why they stopped with the episodes. is that true???
I like this programme, believe or not I met the two fat ladies in person when I was a little girl! I do not know if Chirissa is dead but I do know that Jenifer died I remeber them annoncing that, so lucky I met them when I did.
I loved these two women and miss seeing the series on the Food Network. I hope to be able to get the videos soon so I can try and cook some of the recipes, and of course be able to see them again. :))
watch out im currently doing a recpe book Based on The Two Fat Ladies and The Hairy Bikers. Im looking for a name for it The working title is Four Fat Chefs...was going to call it Four Fat F****** but that wouldnt be nice :-) Any suggestions would be great
I adore this show. Best cooking show on Earth. I love watching them cook and their funny stories, and like to make some of their dishes while watching the episodes. I'm very glad the first series is on DVD, hopefully the 2nd & 3rd will be available on DVD too.
they were possibly the most unique duo on tele!!!!!
everything was so pleasent to watch. I love their humor, the settings, the unique recipes. What a treasure. Jennifer was sort of my favorite, she was such a one of a kind person! I love you Jen!!!!! God Bless!
I LOVED this show!! Still have about 6 or 7 episodes I taped when I was in college. Funny how a tune like this intro can take you back to a certain place in time. If I can figure out how to get them from VHS to on here, I can put up a few episodes of the Ladies
I sure miss seeing these ladies on the Food Network. Even though Jennifer is gone, it would be still be nice to see the series somewhere again! Thanks for posting.
