Hmmm yes he really does have to work on his race craft doesn't he!! His speed is very good when he has a clear track, but without being rude he was awful when among cars, no idea how to overtake or defend. Perhaps karting would be a good idea where you can be more aggressive and learn different racing lines.
I've watched the race 1 video as well and it seems to me that the spin is just an unfourtunate racing incident. Moving completely frrom the left side of of the circuit to the right, to deliberatley hit the white car twice is more than an 'over reaction' by the driver.
@madasabanana - thanks for your comment. Yes, the retaliation was an 'over reaction' and the driver concerned knows this and has long since apologised (did so within an hour of the race finishing). There was only a single 'deliberate' hit, the second hit was caused by both drivers correcting the movement caused by the first contact.
The first hit (spin) wasn't a deliberate attempt to tip the driver into a spin but it was wreckless in the extreme and was only ever going to end in one way ....
@MaxxUK ... a 'racing incident'? maybe so, but one that could have resulted in a car going into the barriers at around 100mph. It was 100% the chasing drivers fault yet he didnt come and apologise which would have avoided any ill feeling.
This has long since been resolved and both drivers have raced together many times since without a problem and regularly speak at race weekends.
I am glad to see you apologized to #90, as I saw that from his side first and that looked quite unsportsmanlike, not to mention extremely dangerous. Now I saw your triple spin from race 1, and I can also understand your strong emotions, as from #43's onboard camera, the 900 spin was not visible. I think you can consider yourselves lucky to be both unhurt after such a racing day.
@StephMX5 - Hi. I'm Malcolm, driver coach for car #43. I got both drivers together after race 2, watched the footage from car #90 and discussed the incident. They both realised how the situation arose and both regretted it. They shook hands and agreed to put it behind them.
Unfortunately it did leak out into the general Internet and caused a stir but i'm hoping it's all over now and we can get back to racing.
I think that was a good thing to get them both together after the race to settle things down. It was a scary moment for fahadhm. All's well that ends well. Let's go racing again.
