No there shouldnt be a scar, I'm going through treatments right now for a section on my left rib cage. Just so you know this hurts much worse than the actual tattoo does in my opinion, and definatly right on the section im getting it done is on a rib itself. make sure its right the first time around.

Even if they are scrubbed with alcohol or whatever and the tech washed her hands. That is still not sterile...or at least aeseptic.
