@NIGELNOTRENDS There were actually about 2 or 3 version. One is more drum heavy, then there's this one, and then probably an inverted one *shrugs* Maybe there's just two lol

pretty sure that when she originally recorded this album she was unsatisfied so she rerecorded the entire thing.

i personally don't think fiona has the passion for music anymore. she's a brilliant artist, but i don't think her heart is in it anymore. you have tidal in 96 when the pawn in 99 and 6 years for extraordinary machine. it will probably be another 6 years till we get another amazing album ... which is sad. WE LOVE U FIONA !

@TheRealMollyMaev It's totally real. I was listening to this five years ago before the "new" version of the album was even recorded. And having seen Jon Brion live, this unreleased Apple album is about as Brion as it gets. Not only that, but Apple frequently turns up at Brion's LA gigs even now - they're close.

They totally killed the feel of this song on the official release, I feel like the craziness of the unreleased versions relates the sentiments of wanting to be a better person a lot more effectively. Like you gotta go through a lot of bullshit and mayhem until you can finally call yourself a person in this world... ah

so, it's my firm belief, the only reason why we like these unreleased versions of these songs so much, is because we've been desperatly fiending for more Fiona songs. This is the closest we have to something new yet genuine. I don't know, but personally, I need more Fiona, still! Nothing is better therapy than this! I was fortunate to see her live once, it was amazing!

I was privee enough to get a copy of the entire album in its pre-release version and honestly, it is a hell of a lot better. The actual release is overproduced as hell. This is pure song writing goodness.

fiona has that "magic power".. you will love anything she makes

and it's so true.. i first had all the unrealised version on my computer and when i bought the album i erased all because i liked better the realeased version.

Now i listen to this and im sorry i erase these songs, i can't find them anymore
