I have dedicated 10 years of the 15 years I've live to becoming a marine so im not going to quit now, but if for whatever reason i cant be a marine, I will go into the navy and be a corpsman hopefully getting in FMF, i know nothing about what to do to be a corpsman with FMF, so can somebody shed some info on what i should know if i want to be a corpsman. Thank you to corpsman who served, serving, and will serve.

I want to personally thank all of you and know that being a Corpsman and learning how to be a true corpsman is something i thank all those who have come before me for. Women can be FMF corpsman i know many of them. Do not let anyone man or woman tell you that you cant do it. Yes there are only so many seats aviable to women but that doesnt mean you cant push for it. Best bet is when you get your contract rolling demand its in there. Make sure you have it in WRITING on your contract that you will go to FMTB after corps-school ok. If its not in writing it dont mean a damn thing.

Wrong... Females are allowed to be FMF. The cannot be straight up line corpsmen, but they will be put with marines. Most likely in the BAS or MLG. Something of that nature.

E-1 = HR = recruit

E-7,8,9 = HMC,HMCS,HMCM = Chief, Senior Chief, and Master Chief Petty Officers
